I love the Spring! After such a rough and snowy winter, the sunny days and brand new spring flowers pushing up through the ground these days are making me want to skip around town, humming a happy tune! In an effort to continue my June Cleaver organization tasks, I have been spring cleaning by putting away my heavy, bulky winter clothes and breaking out some lightweight, frilly, feminine fashions. And speaking of spring fashions.....

I recently had the opportunity to try the Fresh Flowers Maxi Dress* from Downeast Basics. This fantastic dress is perfect for spring and will carry you into summer as well (and probably into fall with a cute little cardigan, too).  I am actually wearing it as I type this right now. Hmmmm, let me see....this dress has short sleeves, delicate applique roses along the neckline and an empire style waistline. Translation: very flattering (even when sitting, hahaha)! It also features a very stylish long skirt with a ruffle at the hem. I must say, this is the most comfortable dress I have worn in a very long time. I could wear this casually but could then easily dress it up with just a simple necklace and a pair of kitten heels and be ready to go out for dinner. The Fresh Flowers Maxi Dress is my new "go to" dress and it is perfect for any Mom. I just might have to get it in another color at this rate!
